A lateral sewer inspection is like a "health check" for your home's plumbing. It involves sending a specialized camera through the sewer line that connects your house to the main sewer system. This inspection helps detect any hidden issues, like tree root intrusions, cracks, blockages, or damage, which could lead to costly repairs if left unattended.

Getting a lateral sewer inspection is a proactive and cost-effective way to ensure the longevity and functionality of your plumbing system, potentially saving you from major headaches and expenses in the future. It provides peace of mind, knowing that your home's plumbing is in good condition and that you won't be surprised by unexpected and costly repairs down the line.

Radon is a naturally occurring, odorless, and colorless gas that can seep into homes and pose a serious health risk.

By conducting a radon test, you're ensuring the air quality within your prospective home is safe. It's a crucial step to safeguard your family's health and well-being. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, so detecting and mitigating any radon issues early can potentially save lives and provide peace of mind.

In essence, radon testing is a prudent and responsible action that demonstrates your commitment to the safety and long-term health of your family, ensuring the home you're considering is a secure and healthy environment.

Mold is found everywhere outside and inside of a home! No matter what you do, mold will always be present around you. It is a type of fungus that grows in multicellular filaments called hyphae. It is a natural part of the environment and plays a crucial role in breaking down dead organic matter, such as fallen leaves and dead trees.

Mold can become a problem in indoor environments when excessive moisture is present, leading to mold growth on various surfaces. Common areas where mold can thrive indoors include damp basements, bathrooms, kitchens, and areas with water leaks or flooding.

When a mold test is performed, the inspector gets 2 air samples from within the home and a control sample from outside. These samples are then sent to a lab, where they can determine if there are any concerning levels of mold spores in the air. Surface samples can also be sent to the laboratory if needed.

ADDED SERVICE FEEDBACK

Kevin did an amazing job helping us understand where we were wasting energy. In fact, he found that our duct work under the house had not been sealed (house built in 1996) and was leaking air from every seam (something that at least two HVAC companies had not noticed). Once I seal these, he will save me 100s of dollars. Also, he was very thorough and friendly. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
